Composer, Arranger & Pianist Seishiro Irie
Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University in 2021. From 2021 to 2024, I worked in the defense division at a major electronics manufacturer. Since 2024, I have been active as a composer/arranger and pianist.
I began studying classical piano at the age of three and started learning composition and arrangement independently at eighteen.
In 2019, I undertook the “One Song a Day” challenge, composing 100 piano pieces over 100 consecutive days and sharing them on social media, gaining recognition both within and beyond my university.
In 2022, I appeared as an emerging artist on the main stage of Rengo Mita-kai 2022. I premiered Jiro-lian Rhapsody, a four-movement work depicting the story behind the creation of Ramen Jiro, performing before an audience of several thousand. (The work was re-recorded in 2023 under KING RECORDS Inc., where I served as executive producer, overseeing a recording project involving a total of 23 musicians.)
In 2024, I joined the Japanese band ONiONiGiRiES as a composer, arranger, and pianist, reinterpreting and promoting traditional Japanese folk music. In the following year, a joint elementary and junior high school concert held in Aomori Prefecture was featured in the media, including broadcasts on ABA (Aomori Asahi Broadcasting) and ATV (Aomori Television).
Currently, I work as a freelance composer, arranger, and pianist, creating music across a wide range of fields including sound logos, visual media, and wedding music. I am also active in live performances with ONiONiGiRiES and at events featuring Hana of Gacharic Spin.
